Entering Strip Footing Design Parameters

Now we need to input suitable design parameters. The input for both Concrete and Rebar form (Combined footing) and Cover and Soil form (Combined footing) are as same as the previous isolated footing example. We will use the default parameters included in the program

Select Combined Footing Job > Design Parameters > Footing Geometry in the Main Navigator pane.

The Footing Geometry form (Combined footing) opens in the Data Input pane.
Select Calculate Dimensions for the Design Type.
Specify other footing dimensions as follows:
1. Minimum Left over hang length = 36 in
2. Minimum Right over hang length = 36 in
3. Minimum Width = 48 in
4. Minimum Thickness = 12 in
5. Maximum Length = 400 in
6. Maximum Width = 400 in
7. Maximum Thickness = 36 in
